I am a Hiker who likes to take pictures...

So I bought a new (to me) camera from an old friend...it is an Olympus E-P 3.  I have a LOT to learn before I get it right!!  There are tons of bells and whistles compared to the  point and shoot I  have been using for the past year and a half here.  

I keep taking it on this 10 mile (round trip) hike to the El Capitan Bridge to re-create this awesome photo that is hanging in the Starbucks in Oakhurst.  I am sure that the professional photog that took the shot had a better lens and better everything than even my upgrade, but I continue to try.   I know, I know, I still need to read the whole manual while I actually sit and play with the camera, but the damn thing sometimes has a mind of its own.  I shot in RAW and JPEG this time and I may or may not have had the fancy Art Filter on....

I am enjoying the challenge of learning how to use my new toy and it is so light and small it does not get in my way one bit...:)
